Operations Manager – Recycling & Waste Management

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate operations across multiple waste collection and recycling facilities.
📍 Location: Igando, Ojota & Ilupeju, Lagos
💰 Salary: ₦300,000 – ₦500,000 Gross
👤 Reports to: Head of Operations
Key Responsibilities
– Oversee daily operations across multiple waste collection and recycling facilities.
– Monitor material inflow, processing, grinding operations and stock levels.
– Coordinate material movement and logistics between facilities and the Ilupeju processing plant.
– Monitor equipment, generators, diesel consumption and machine downtime.
– Manage vendors and service providers.
– Ensure accurate stock reconciliation and documentation.
– Monitor operational expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
– Prepare daily and monthly operational reports.
– Lead, manage and evaluate operational teams.
– Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safety standards.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production Management or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in operations management.
– Experience in manufacturing, recycling, waste management or plastics is highly preferred.
– Strong leadership, problem-solving and coordination skills.
– Ability to manage multiple facilities and operational teams
